"I don't understand CNET's rating."4.5 starson by americano82
Pros: - Picture quality is quite good.
- As a gamer: DUAL PLAY!!!
- Sexy, sexy design (you can cut a cake with this thing if you want)
- Passive 3D >> Active 3D (IMO)
Cons: - I don't really use the Smart TV features, so it seems a bit of a waste (for me, of course, I can't say for everyone else).
- Because the bezel is so thin, I am afraid that if I knock into it accidentally, it'll just break.
Summary: CNET's review seems a bit puzzling to me. My TV set looks great, and I see nothing wrong with the picture quality. Of course, however, I am no expert, so perhaps their review reflects those of someone more technically inclined with a really sharp eye (I don't understand any of those color charts and such). Or maybe they actually received a sub-par unit in the early-production of that model. In any case, without going into anything technical, I would say that the picture quality is quite good. Amazing, in fact. And I think one of the best features for me, personally, is the dual play, which CNET seemed to downplay a lot. Allow me to explain: I love having friends over to play video games with me, but I absolutely HATE playing the game split screen. Everything just looks so cramped, and overall, it just sucks. With the dual play, both my friend and I pretty much have the entire screen for ourselves! I think the more you try it out with a friend, the more you will appreciate it.I realized that I accidentally posted this on the EM9600! This is about the LM9600.
