"We've owned the LG65LW6500 for two years."2.5 starson by Mortachi
Pros: Great picture, easy set-up, 3D is OK but we didn't use for the 1st year and half we owned the unit.
Cons: The software is terrible, LG's new downloads don't seem to fix anything.
There's no list of channels to see "what's on" like other brands.
I agree with the all the negative comments about the glare and sound but I've had no problem with LED edge.
Summary: We have own two other big screen TV brands and their software is much better than this units. We have cable (no box), an antenna and satellite sources. Figuring out the inputs was pretty easy but because there's no cable box I had to use the TV's coaxial input and buy a separate tuner box with a HDMI output to watch the antenna. Before buying the external tuner I plugged the antenna into the set and scanned for channels, it found far fewer channels than my other sets even though the LG was the 1st unit on the antenna feed. This unit costs a lot more than the other brands, you'd think LG would have more than one coaxial input and have the best tuner available.
My wife is happy but I'm disappointed and would advise people to buy other brands.
