"People take note: it is a Samsung product after all!"
Pros: Inexpensive...great quality...buying from Costco( no need for extended warranties)...
Cons: No turner, speakers no loud enough!
Summary: Purchased at Costco for $1,799.00(Oregon NO TAX) and have it set-up with DirectTV HDTV and picture looks fantastic.
I also connected a LG dvd player with HDMI output and I NEVER seen picture look so awesome!
The best thing is that buying from Costco, I don't have to pay another $400 for extended warranties...I will just return it...in case something happens!

The MX3 is a PANASONIC product , The panasonic labels are all over the Glass and boards. Matshita parts. Same essential glass and TV as the Panasonic TH-42PX50U

I was told by the guy at Costco that the Maxnet was Pioneer parts assembled in Mexico but I knew that couldn't be right seeing how it said made in Tiawan right on the box.
