The Bottom Line The 50-inch Maxent MX-50X3 plasma is an excellent value by virtue of its impressive picture quality, but don't expect high style or numerous features. Although it has enough features for most folks, the less-expensive Maxent MX-5020HPM can't keep up with the picture quality of the competition. In its MX-42X3, Maxent has assembled a bargain 42-inch plasma that performs quite well compared to the higher-priced competition. If you don't mind its red frame, the Samsung LN52A650 LCD TV will reward you with a massive feature set and excellent picture quality.
