Pros: Large screen, good picture definition.
Cons: Did not last through the warranty
Summary: This flat screen was given to me as a Christmas gift. Approx. 9 months later, I placed a dvd into the on board dvd player and it booted up ok but the remote would not advance the menu in any way. I tried using the menu buttons on the tv itself and that did not work either. I couldn't even eject the dvd. I tried hooking up a seperate dvd player through the external audio video ports and the dvd player was not recognized. I could only use the seperate dvd player by disconnecting the coax cable and using it. I suppose the biggest issue is trying to find someone who works on this tv. If you try to contact Mintek, they will not return your emails and appear to be one of the best kept secrets as far as service and providing information on trouble shooting and repairing this tv. If you want a tv for good picture quality only, this would be a good choice. If you want a tv with a built in dvd player and other video input options, this is definitely not for you.

Cons: DVD does not eject. TV no longer responds to remote OR manual buttons except on/off.
Summary: I have not been able to use my cable remote for all of the features since this company 'code' is not listed with COX. When I emailed Mintek about the DVD not ejecting they told me to send it to them and they would fix it. For what the postage would have cost me, I could buy a DVD player. The DVD player stopped working right after QVC warranty was up!

Cons: DVD player stopped working after 1 year. After 2 years, TV doesn't respond to remote or the buttons on the TV itself - only responds to the on/off button.
Summary: Buy something else

Pros: great picture
Cons: Doesn't work stuck with volume and dvd has stopped working
Summary: Love the picture but all of the sudden volue and all buttons on the remote stopped working. Buttons on the unit only turn off the tv. Can't add any inputs and nothing works.
