"Nice TV, not great"
Pros: 1920x1080 native display, QAM get high def on standard cable
Cons: Slow to change channels, program guide awkward, buggy
Summary: The colors on this set are not quit right. Picture is brilliant, sharp and clear. High def shows look great, but not quite real. I saw it side-by-side next to a Sharp Aquos in a few different stores and almost settled for the Aquos' lower resolution and slower refresh, but wanted it to double as a monitor on my HTPC and it does the 1920x1080 nicely, making an incredible monitor and pretty nice TV, too. It is REALLY slow to tune in even the analog stations, digitals are even worse. Channel surfing is out of the question. The online guide is total crap. It seems buggy, but maybe I just need to re-RTFM. Some channels it found were 4-digit but it jumps to a channel when I enter the 3rd digit. I have to surf to them and it takes forever. The digital audio output is silent on analog stations, requiring switching the AVR input when switching the TV between analog and digital stations. I almost took it back, but was tired of shopping and it does a pretty good job. DON'T PAY MSRP!
