"Buyer beware"
Pros: 1080p up conversion works well
Cons: Poor color balance and Media Center is larger than standard A/V components
Summary: I purchased this LCD just by the fact it's one of the first (upconversion) 1080p flat panels on the market. I was very disappointed with the color on this TV when I got it home. There's way too much magenta in the skin tones. Especially in dark scenes. I tried adjusting a number of things (backlighting, contrast, hue, etc.) and was never able to get the picture to look right. At this price, I expected a much better picture quality. The Media Center unit is also much longer than standard A/V components. It's close to 19" in length with the cables (HDMI, power, display) connected. I finally got feed up with the TV and returned it for another brand that's almost half the price. The picture quality on the new TV is 1000% better than this one. Buyer beware!

You obviously got a bad TV, and it's not Mitsubishi's fault. Unless you're stupid, you saw the TV before you bought it, and if you bought it, it must have looked good. You couldn't figure out the settings and got frustrated.
Stop blaming products for what you don't understand.
