"DO NOT BUY A MITSUBISHI HDTV"
Pros: Nothing. Nada. Zip.
Cons: Lines down the screen on 3 different tv's. Everytime!
Summary: I am on my 2nd Mitsubishi LT-46. First one the panel got 2 vertical lines. After waiting a month for a new panel, every thing was great for about 2 weeks. Yup, 2 more vertical lines. After battleing with Mitsu Customer NON-service for a month they agreed to allow me to get a new TV from the store where I bought this one. They even extended my waranty for a year. One year and 2 days later...LINES! We lived with the lines for about a month and now half the screen is snowy in HD. These TV's stink. They are horrible. I will never buy anything from Mitsubishi for as long as I live. Go look at another brand. PLEASE!
Horrible customer service! Worst ever.
Complete waste of money.

Mitsubishi has extended to 2 years coverage on the line issue, caused by a Samsung made LCD Module (the entire screen!). I had the issue on a 149 series. They got it fixed in 8 days WITHOUT A PROOF OF PURCHASE! Excellent customer service. Even the repair shop was surprised that Mitsubishi told them they would repair it without a receipt. The repair man said Mitsubishi is great to deal with, the opposite of Samsung who has made many customers mad and they take it out on him. Do some research, flat panels only last 2-5 years before needing reairs, 10 if lucly. The repair will cost as much as a new TV or the part is not available. Moral of the story is buy the longest and best extended warranty you can. And Mitsubishi is great to work with, especially when you read the horror stories from customers of other companies.
