"Fantastic TV beats many higher priced models!!" on by jawny03

Pros: Great Picture and Resolution!! PIP, Computer hookup

Cons: Only component hookup for High Def

Summary: For anybody that is satisfied with a TV that only has the component hookup for high def, this is the TV for you!! I am very happy with this TV, it has everything that I needed. I can use the computer monitor hookup and the picture in picture together so I can watch TV on one half of the screen while I use the computer on the other half. The picture is fantastic!! I actually noticed this TV overother more expensive models in the store. It was the picture and not the price that initially drew me to the TV. Definately UNDERATED by CNET!! No better deal out there right now!

"Great TV, cnet must be crazy" on by hjuliao

Pros: Low price, very nice picture quality

    Cons: Single Tuner PIP

Summary: I had this TV for about a year now and I've been nothing but happy with it, the picture quality it's amazing especially at 720P.
1080i looks king of funny when watching fast motion material like an NBA game, but that's any TV on 1080i. The colors look perfect, especially while watching DVD'S.

I you have a decent receiver you won't care about the "lack of inputs" I run the audio and video from my AVR 430 and it looks great.

I paid under $1,000 for the TV, and even more expensive sets did not looked as good as this one.

The only thing missing it's a DVI input, but at this price range you'll be asking too much...

"LT2720 TV not worth the money in the long run." on by not2ask

Pros: Nice looking, sharp image most times.

Cons: Turns itself on and off at will. No universal remote control.

Summary: 11 months old and TV has "ghost" inside, not able to keep on or off! Warranty repair but have to pay freight GA to CA. Not worth it.

"TV is adequate for price - remote is poorly made" on by quaquaversal

Pros: Good price - decent picture

Cons: No HDMI input, remote functions poorly and has no universal codes, TV sometimes will NOT turn off and has to be unplugged.

Summary: The picture on this TV is OK for the price and when I purchased it well over a year ago didn't realize I would eventually need HDMI input, which it doesn't have. The remote control is poorly constructed and has now ceased to function at all. It also has no universal "codes" so I've never been able to program it's basic remote functions into my TiVO remote. Sometimes the TV will not power down at all. The AC has to be unplugged to reset. This is my first HD TV and I've been OK with the HD picture but you pretty much always get what you pay for.
