"A great value"
Pros: Price, Ease of use, picture quality
Cons: Lack of multiple HD inputs, speakers just ok, NO REMOTE CODES
Summary: While it may not look as stylish as most of the LCD tv's available - the picture quality pretty good on both hdtv (720p) and standard definition broadcasts. It is perfect for those who want a basic HDTV without all of the trimmings.
The bottom mount speaker makes the tv a bit bulky, but it is removable, which streamlines the look. (FYI the speaker is one piece but the tv has regular speaker wire outputs if you would like to replace the speaker bar)
The biggest drawback is the lack of remote codes for this product - meaning I couldn't get my cable box remote to turn on or off the tv or controll the volume - and when Olevia was contacted they said there is no easy solution. I had to purchase a learning remote (Harmon Kardon TC-30) which now works all my components wonderfully.
