Pros: superb black levels
highly accurate color in THX mode
unmatched brightness for a plasma,
lower power consumption than any previous plasmas
1080P motion so no motion blur even during sports
superb contrast ratio
excellent shadow detail and gammaCons: THX is a bit dim in brightly lit rooms but still works well in a dark room
a couple of secondary colors need adjusting but hardly noticeable

"Superior Picture, Great Value"
Pros: Very good anti-reflective screen, profound blacks, great shadow detail. Footprint is the same as other brands 40 inch units. The silver detail is spiffy!
Cons: Price is still high for a 42" set, speakers are average but most will connect to a surround system, controls take time to master, absence of a swivel base.

Pros: The colors are absolutely amazing. The resolution is spectacular. The menu options are easy to use and you can find a setting that you want easily.
Cons: The manual is slightly ridiculous. How many languages do you really need to read? And not all that helpful. Use trial and error for most of it.

"Simply the best high-end HDTV for the middle class"
Pros: Picture quality is the best in this price range. All the needed hook-ups are there.
Lower power consumption than most plasma TV's. Good viewing from any angle.Cons: Unit is heavy at around 90 lbs.
