Pros: HD image quality, vivid colors, high-speed motion images, easy setup.

Cons: Slightly higher energy use than comparable LED's, but in the big scheme of things, it might end up costing $10/year more to operate.

Summary: Picked the 50" ST30 up for xmas at Best Buy for $899 based on the cnet reviews. My expectations were high, and I must say this TV delivers stunning HD. Exceptional image quality and colors for CGI kids movies. Hockey is also incredible. Setup is very easy from the box to final hookup. We have yet to test the full feature set of 3D and Wi-fi. So far this TV has exceeded my expectation.
