"Set-up tip wanted please!"

Summary: Just hung the 60"ST30 on the wall, replacing my 5 year old Hitachi 55" plasma that went out. I'm looking for any set-up/adjustment tips from you all that have logged some time playing around with it. Thanks ahead of time.
Please ignore, I accidentally put this in the 50" section, mine is the 60"...Overall though, had for a week watching march madness, used CNETs picture settings, all relatively good....One issue, there was some juddering of basketball players about 4 times per minute, and some odd motion issues, hard to describe, but very noticeable, quick one second motion issues at times during the games last week. This week, not as many which is good, but still some odd motion, digital looking sequences on the players...will be watching closely during the elite 8 games this weekend to see if it improves.
Things I've read so far, but feel free to elaborate, or add.
-CATS, turn off.
-look for brightness fluctuation? (this was that smart a** guy's thing on a review:)
-use the 'Cinema' mode, best of the preset ones anyway.
-I saw a post of 'Custom' settings, any additional tips here I'd gladly read.
Sound question
Wi-Fi dongle...I have it plugged into the usb port on the TV itself, so when using VieraCast, I have to turn down my Denon 2310 A/V receiver's volume and use the TV's audio...Do you know if I can plug the usb dongle into the Denon so that the video and sound will come out of the single HDMI cable running to the TV?
Another sound question: I want the DirecTV remote to change the volume of the Denon when on the standard DirecTV mode, without having to switch it to the assigned AV2 input that it is assigned too....The reason I ask is I recently put my cheaper Samsung C450 50" on the wall, and the "Aynet" setting or whatever HDMI input I used over-rode the TV volume and went straight to the Denon volume for the speakers, that saved the step of having to changed the DirecTV remote to AV2 to change the Denon sound.
Humble brag there, I got this from Best Buy in St. Louis for $1099, free shipping to my house with basic set-up....There were no Panasonics left in any store, even floor models sold out, waiting on the 2012's...But the local warehouse had two left, P60ST30's, so I snagged one. Ordered on Mon, being delivered on Wed.
Again, thank you ahead of time. Side Note; if me having no review and asking for help before the TV is even on my wall bothers you, I apologize, and ignore this, I'm not a guy that make many posts to anything, sorry if breaking protocol here. I'll try and give a review after I log some hours, but probably a moot pt since the 2012 models are coming out now.
