"Awesome Plasma for the money"
Pros: Awesome Picture, user menu, bulb life, styling
Cons: price, no PIP
Summary: I originally wanted the 42 in but it would not fit in my cabinent so I settled for the 37in. I really do not notice a big size difference. After comparing 20 + models, the picture on the panasonics were superior to all others. This has such a great picture - very rich and detailed and it displays the best contrast - true black color. If you have analog cable dont worry, the picture still looks great (but you need digital cable to see the true capabilities). The user menus are very intuitive and easy to configure with nice built in graphical menus. The speakers are pretty good for bult in speakers but they dont compare to stand alone theater systems (recommend buying). The plasma screen is the 8th generation and they have extended the bulb life to 60,000 hrs = 20+ years of viewing. Also, the pany microprocessing unit and converter is highly rated. Quality control standards are very high and you are unlikey to get a screen full of dead pixels - cant say that about some of the cheap plasmas I saw in the store with lots of dead pixels.
Over all you could get a cheaper model plasma but you wont find a better plasma at this price.
