"Most bang for the buck (and then some)!"
Pros: Able to receive HD broadcasts, PIP is excellent, able to convert analog cable service to digital.
Cons: remote control could use some stream-lining
Summary: This plasma is by far and away the best on the market, for any price range. The greatest feature is that the TV has a built-in digital tuner. So that not only can you receive HD broadcasts free, but you can also receive digital cable free without subscribing to their service. This is enabled due to the "cable card" option on the TV. Without the card, you only get some of them, but they are free. No box needed, just insert the cable card from the cable company (should be same charge as having a box), and then you can get all of the digital programs.
The PIP is excellent in the fact that you can change channels within the PIP, swap them, and even change the size of PIP. I especially like to do a split-screen, displaying the HD picture next to the non-HD picture. This really impresses your friends.
The sound is excellent.
The remote control needs some work though, but the best feature about the remote is that you can enter an HD channel easily with the "-" button. I have not seen this on any other HD tv.
