    "Great picture but known defect still present in on-off circuit"

    Pros: excellent HD picture, nice sleek looking style

    Cons: had to return after 4 weeks. Unit shut down and would not go back on. Starting to experience same problem with new set. Shut down twice but came back on. Panasonic has known about this problem.

    Summary: Be careful, panasonic says that they have fixed the problem with units manufactured after July 2007. I'm not convinced, my set was made in Nov 2007. Be sure the place you bought it will let you return set for new if you have a problem. Also, check out other web sites to see the extent of this problem.
