"Best bang for the buck"
Pros: Outstanding HD clarity, sharp contrast and color, easy to use menu, antiglare screen.
Cons: Sound quality is not the best but with theater audio, who cares.
Summary: After comparing other 42" flat panel TVs under $1,400 I was amazed of the picture quality of this set. Sharp contrast, vivid colors and the antiglare screen seems help in most cases. Although the sound quality is not the greatest it is adequate for my quiet time viewing. After hooking it up with my Yamaha home theater system I can crank it up with DTS 5.1. It's only been 2 weeks but so far I have no complaints.
