The Panasonic TH-50PX25U/P uses the same glass as the TH-50PHD6UY and should offer similar picture performance. The TH-50PX25U/P has a built-in HDTV tuner and a CableCard slot, making the set digital cable ready. The TH-50PX25U/P also offers two-tuner PIP (picture-in-picture), a photo-card slot, speakers, and a full connectivity suite, including an HDMI port and two component-video inputs. Summary: This is one of the less expensive 50-inch plasma TVs, so we can forgive a few small issues, but it simply isn't bright enough for quality daytime viewing, and the lack of 720p support is simply inexcusable.
