"Picture is good, but TV has an annoying hum." on by duck457
Pros: Good picture for what I paid. Easy set Up.
Cons: Has annoying hum that slightly fades the longer the TV has been on.
Summary: This TV was a good value for the price, but trying to get it fixed has been a pain.I had had the TV for about a week before the hum started. I bought it American TV and their service tech was terrible. They do not stand behind the products they sell. Stay away from American. I am now trying to deal directly with Panasonic in getting it fixed.

I'm usually pretty picky about low hums and annoying noises, but I haven't noticed anything of the sort from my unit. It might be a manufacturing defect? I'm extremely happy with my set, except I'm kicking myself that I didn't check the number of component inputs.

I just got the same set this past Monday, 12/15, and have noticed the same low hum.
Panasonic is going to send a tech to service. What happened with yours?
