Panasonic Viera TC-P42S2

Pros: The picture is great, but you can't connect a PC or MAC to this TV. Tried same setup that works on my 3 year old Samsung.
Samsung works like a champ, Panasonic on each of the 3 HDMI inputs displays nothing. Stick with Samsung

Cons: Took seven contacts to Panasonic to have a tech tell me that they were receiving many calls concerning that DVI HDMI connection not working with their TVs. Then was told that TV didn't support PC/MAC connection. In the tech specs it states DVI/HDMI

Summary: Stay away from Panasonic if you want to connect a PC or MAC to your TV. Panasonic initially told me that my DVI/HDMI interface adapter must not be up to spec. Funny it works with my Samsung
I tried S-video to component video , 15 pin VGA to component video nothing work. Tried new HP Elite PC with Nvidia HDMI Video card, this didn't work, this HP PC works with my old Samsung. Took seven contacts to Panasonic before a tech told me that this PC wasn't design to work with PCs or Macs. Funny it has DVI/HDMI interface defined in the manual and the setup for the HDMI ports has computer for one of the input labels.
