Panasonic TC P54S1 (54", 54.1" viewable plasma TV)

Pros: Great Picture, Great Blacks, Looks greate

Cons: Reflect sunlight (that's expected), component input sluggish (might be comcast)

Summary: Had it for 3 months now, bought off of Amazon. Learned alot from AVS forums.

Picture was sluggish at first but once I switched from component to HDMI, that cleared it up.

Great for Blue Ray, just buy your movies online, it's expensive.

My PS3 games look amazing, huge difference in those, just between component and HDMI connection from the PS3 to TV. Get category 2 cables online. Don't buy Monster crap from Best Buy.

I bought the S1 over the G10 only b/c I didn't feel the need for the extra features of G10. I also was coming from a 1st Generation 720p Westinghouse, 32" that I moved to the bedroom.

I wanted the deep blacks, especially after comparing to my LCD.

How I know I made the right decision, my non-technical, don't care about picture that much wife, now wants that 32" LCD replaced in the bedroom.

Reflects sunlight which is expected, but I don't get home until late most of the time anyway and knew that.

There's plenty of great TV's, LCD and Plasma, but I knew I wanted the best picture for movies and games and this was it for me.
