Review summary For those who can spare no expense, the Panasonic TH-42PZ700U plasma offers the best picture quality in its size class. Solid picture quality propels the Samsung LN32A450 LCD to the front of small-screen class. A couple of issues keep its picture out of the top tier, but excellent black-level performance still makes the Panasonic TH-46PZ85U plasma HDTV stand out from the pack. Accurate color helps set apart the excellent picture quality of the Samsung PN50A550 50-inch plasma HDTV. If you don't mind its red frame, the Samsung LN52A650 LCD HDTV will reward you with a massive feature set and excellent picture quality.
