"Bye Bye Motion Sickness!"
Pros: Great Picture & Sound, Fast Motion, Lots of inputs
Cons: As hard as they try, its just not as bright as an LCD
Summary: Maybe its just me but LCDs (and some plasmas) give me motion-sickness. As it stands right now, flat-screen's response time aren't nearly as good as a classic tube.
I checked out the 120hz LCD models from Sony and Samsumg, and while they are better, I still get nauseous.
But Panasonic's Plasma is quick enough to allow me to focus on the great picture, rather than my stomach.
But there is a big trade-off. Plasma's aren't nearly as bright as LCD's making daytime watching difficult.
My only other complaint is the lack of 1080p option from component cables... xbox 360 owners will require a vga or hdmi kit.
But between the great fast picture, surprisingly good sound, lots of HDML inputs, good 480p DVD picture, and great price compared to the Pioneers... its an easy decision!
Great job Panasonic!

HA! I too, get motion-sickness from these TVs! I will say that Plasmas seem to be way better in this department. Well this is good news for me...I'm on the fence with this TV and it's good to hear from someone else that the motion sickness isn't there (I thought I was alone on this one!)

Yes you can get 1080p through component from the 360 as I get with my Samsung 4665f. Some tv's just don't accept it, which is pretty lame.

yeah, your right on the money with that one. You really should have room darkening shades if you buy a plasma because ANY ambient room light dulls the picture way too much. . . I STILL prefer plasmas, . . the 3D like picture on the top of the line Panasonic and Pioneers is breathtaking. and LOL, I thought I was the only one that got sick from LCD's, . . I get like nervous, and anxiety from them. . That's all I need, . . a seizure from playing Gears of War........ Once the lights go off though, there is NO comparison, the plasma's just trounce the LCD's IMHO........... Truth be told, . . if you watch primarily daytime tv, and news channels where there is an onscreen icon or ticker, . . get an LCD,,,,,,,,,,,,,if your a movie buff or play HD games......... well, . there is nothing to even debate.

You can't get 1080P from component cables, period. There isn't any TV that will do that for you from the component inputs. As far as XBOX 360 is concerned, you can get an HDMI adapter. However, at that point, it makes more sense to just trade in your old system at GameStop-keep your hard drive and pay the difference to get the new 20 gig system with the HDMI port and the updated grapics card/processors.
