"Get them while they're hot"
Pros: Outstanding blacks, good color with no bleeding of reds. Anti glare screen. Ability to tweek colors, contrast brightness etc to your own liking. Comfortable easy to use remote.
Cons: 3 fans at the rear of this HDTV, makes this big screen a little harder on electricity than LCD's, but still, worth paying a few pennies xtra of electricity per month
Summary: To date, this HDTV has been truly flawless since we purchased it in October 2008.
Connect a Blu Ray player, and the picture quality is better with it's 1080p resolution.
This HDTV is probably the best bang for buck purchase I've ever made.
I paid $1800.00.for the 50 inch Panasonic Plasma TH80PZ50-U but rices have come down considerably now, so you can probably pick one up for a little over $1000.00 if you shop at stores that want to have a clear out sale, in order to make room for newer model HDTV's,
