Pros: Amazing definition from HD cable
Cons: puny onboard audio, suspect QC at factory

Bought this online for $800 shipped, direct from Philips, so I guess I can't complain.In an effort to avoid even more cables in my den, I plugged a cheap gaming subwoofer system into headphone jack. Not bad at all! Adelphia Cable may have had the crookedest management in America, (CEO is now in the slammer), but their DVR/HD package has changed my life. I watch what I want, when I want it, with amazing clarity. Had I paid more, my expectations might have been higher, though. Better on-board sound would rate a "9" in my book.
