  • "Great Picture, Terrible Sound"
    on by mike22378

Pros The picture was beautiful and the controls were easy and intuitive. The remote was simple but effective. Easy access to screen resizing modes (letterbox, crop, stretch). Ample in/outs (3 HDMI, 1 Component, 1 S-vid, digital & analog audio out).

Cons The audio is unacceptable. The volume is incredibly low, even when cranked up and there is no bass response and little midrange. It honestly sounds like you are listening through laptop speakers. Very disappointing.

Summary I loved the picture, and for the price it's great. But the sound quality was unbearable so I returned it after two days. If you get a sound bar compatible with Philips' EasyLink, or if you plan to use it with a stereo/home theater system all the time, then it would be a great TV. But if you plan on using the internal speakers at all, look elsewhere.

  • "Nice TV for the price, and easy to use"
    on by nomead999

Pros Got it at Target for $400 + tax. Sets up in 10 mins! The stand it comes with is nice, and assembles in 2 mins. Remote comes with batts and is self explanatory. Wizard with 5 interactive tests sets up the picture in 1 min! Good stereo sound!

Cons No VGA input, but this may not be a problem for me...

Summary This is a golden age! Check the contrast ratio - fabulous feature set on a decent sized TV brings a very high quality picture home for $400. Good remote, and very good sound (plenty loud as my son asked me to turn it down). Easy set up - you don't need to know squat! Not sure why anyone would need 3 HDMI inputs, but this is a big computer monitor with an HD tuner...

  • "good tv, pleasing picture quality."
    on by Roncnet2000

Pros good colors, white looks white and deep black are really black. sound is decent for its size, comes with various settings.

Cons default settings was too dark as sharpness was set to full. manually setting the color to my desired choice. also when connected to hdmi from laptop the picture did not set it to full size. not sure its probably related to my settings.

Summary been using it for almost a year, supposed to be more reliable as compared to sony and samsungs. option for backlighting like for home or shop use, color/contrast etc settings. compared this with sony, samsung, vizio on display, this tv stood out.

  • "Great sound and pretty good picture. Great deal."
    on by beedog

Pros Many options on sound and picture. Great deal from Office Depot for a net price of $299.99, Easy to set up and customize to your preference.

Cons 720p instead of 1080. I have seen sharper pictures but not for this price on a 32" LCD.

Summary Read all the reviews and purchased. Totally satisfied.

  • "Overall this TV is okl..."
    on by Khalanii

Pros Nice picture quality, took a while to get adjusted to..I am not up on the tech part of hd tv's, but the color and everything is really nice

Cons the volume for this tv suckssssssss...I turned it up to the max and it was still lower than my old tv...it's way to soft for the audio.

Summary If the volume was better i would keep it though but I'm about to return it and buy something wlse..I am sad about this.
