Great Television Overallby justsimplify - October 12, 2008
Pros: Set exhibits great color and sound. Speaker bar on base is removeable, great if wall mounting or using separate amp/speakers.Remote is logical. Plenty of connection options. Known brand.
Cons: Somewhat weak volume, acceptable. No backlight. Small remote, small buttons.
Review:
Still am happy with tv, simple to use and set up. Am using with a standard definition cable box with dvr. Using component connections, picture is very good, pay channels like HBO are even better, similar to DVD quality.
Set up requires 2 people, some assembly required. This is first LCD tv for my home, and was a bit nervous about potential problems. My set has been in regular use 6 months, no issues, am completely satisfied.
I purchased extended warranty, I think that is imperative regardless of brand.
