"Pioneer PRO-110FD"
Pros: Black levels, colors, picture quailty, everything. Ok, maybe not sound, but who cares. When you spend 6K for a TV, you're not paying for sound.
Cons: None compared to any flat screen to date.
Summary: WOW! The Bench Mark that all other TV's aspire to be. Simple put, the very best there is right now, bar none. As usual, Pioneer is setting the standard.
I'm giving this 10 not because it's perfect. It gets a 10 because it is better than anything out here at the moment, by far, inculding CRT Direct View (tube) TV.
If you got the scratch, this is the one to buy.

I agree with you when you say the new pioneer is quite impressive but it is no longer the best. Samsung now owns that title with their new line of 81f series lcds they released last months. NOt only do they display as good if not better black detail but the 52 inch model I bought cost 1000 lessand has a bigger screen by 2 inches then the new pioneer plasmas. Samsung also has a 100000:1 contrast ratio and a dynamic color option that quite frankly blows away the picture quality of the pioneer. Don get me wrong , I think that the pioneers are fantastic TVs but simply stated , they are not the best. That title now belongs to Samsung. I did months of research before purchasing mine and granted you can not go wrong with pioneer, but the Samsung is quite obvious the better choice when you consider price, picture quality and features. IN any event I am sure you are happy with your display I just felt compelled to correct your statement that pioneer is the best out there now. I almost bought one myself until I saw the pioneer side by side with the Samsung 5281f, and it was the clear choice compared to the pioneer.
