"Very bright, feature rich, low glare plasma screen"
Pros: very bright, tons of input types, DRE, low glare, separate media box for cleaner installs, 43 inch instead of typical 42 inch
Cons: besides firewire and VGA ports, only 4 inputs
Summary: I can't imagine a better all around plasma screen in this size range.
I haven't notice any of the buzzing described in the review. The only sound I hear is the fan from the media box that is more than quite enough.
I didn't notice the Panasonics looking any better in the black levels when I compared them but I'm no expert.
The DRE feature that emphasizes bright and dark sections of the picture really make the picture look better. Especially for my Xbox games which if supported can be played at 480p, 720p, or 1080i.
We have this screen in the bedroom right next to two large windows and have no problem with see the TV or glare. I have been very impressed.
I haven?t hooked my PC to it yet so I can?t comment on the VGA port.
The only down side I see so far is the fact that all those ports can only be used with a total of 4 inputs (not counting VGA and firewire). Thankfully that is enough for me but it would have been better to be able to use more of them at the same time.
