"Great 50" Plasma for the Price"
Pros: HD picture from DVD and Satellite HDIMI connections is awesome. Paid $4500 online with free shipping
Cons: Price......(Not bad though), longer media cables for the receiver (Pioneer proprietary) are pricey. Minor glare from house lamps
Summary: Debated for a while over this model and the Panasonic TH-50PHD7UY.....Seen it and saw great reviews.....Both looks great....but the big downer was the inputs. To get the same inputs as the Pioneer Receiver the price would have been about 5500. I use the extra cash to get a HD DVD player and HD TIvo which works out great since I have 2 HDMI connection. Don't think you can go wrong with either TV but the 5050 was definetly a great buy for me.
