    "Worth every cent!"

Pros: Smooth scrolling, no loss of motion, easy setup, great sound! (too many to list)

    Cons: Needed to install shades...

Summary: Although we needed to install shades because we have a brightly lit room with plenty of windows, this does not make me feel less strongly about this display! After months of going through Consumer Reports reviews, and CNET's reviews, We finally had to start seeing the plasmas for ourselves. I actually sat on the floor in a Best Buy for an hour watching the different plasmas. Although Panasonic had a great set which was top rated, the not so lusterous gray frame and bulky front panel was not so pleasing. We made the purchase earlier this year, from Tweeter, right before the Super Bowl, and we were amazed right out of the box! When mounted on the wall, it looks like a picture frame. It has a very sleek and slim design. The colors are so vivid! And the sound from the included speakers (which were deceiving at first because of the size) was just amazing and accurate. With the many features of this display, they all are perfectly matched to what you may be watching. Cinema mode is great for late night movies, giving you a feeling that you are in a theater. Game mode is fantastic! Dynamic mode is the best as colors just "jump" out at you. Try watching "Sunrise Earth" on Discovery HD Theater and you will see why! The set has built in motion adaptation, so that, like on some sets, the display gets pixel-ee as a fast moving object moves across the screen. As for the set itself, having a separate receiver unit saves you a bundle on costly cables, as most sets have all connections located on the back side of the display. Having a sending unit also saves you space on the back side of the unit if you decide to mount the display to a wall, which we have done. The sending unit is connected to a purchased 30 foot cable. I have not experienced any picture degradation with a cable at this length. I strongly recommend this plasma.
    Updated
The remote can be programmed for absolutely ANYTHING! It learns the signal from the previous remote, and stores it for just about any button on the Pioneer remote.
