"Awsome picture! (Pioneer Elite Pro1140HD)"
Pros: Clear picture, vivid blacks
Cons: None that I can find.
Summary: First of all, I am very surprised the other user gave this TV a 4. We have found that HD movies and HD sports look great. We upgraded to this tv after deciding to return the Toshiba 50HP66. Also, I am not sure if there is a difference in the Pioneer Pro1140HD and the Pioneer Elite Pro1140HD. We purchased the Elite. We are extremely pleased with this TV. The colors are vivid, including the blacks where on the Toshiba, we experience more grey than blacks and also wierd square pixels flashing on and off in dark scenes. The same scenes look awsome on the Pioneer. I also like the extra feature called media gallery. I hooked up the TV to my home network and shared out my pictures and music through Windows Media Player 11. We definately learned that you get what you pay for. The Pioneer was considerably more than the Toshiba, but the difference in quality is obvious.
