This Pioneer ended up being out of my price range, and I've been extremely happy with the Panasonic TH-50PX600U.

I love the TV but nowhere in the article does it say Mossberg bought this model himself. All he says is that he purchased his own HDTV. Do you have it on good authority that the Pioneer was what he actually bought?
