"Amazing picture, side by side comparison is the only way to tell"
Pros: HDMI connection from A/V processor is flawless!
Cons: Picture quality controls are complex, but built-in modes satisfactory. Poor picture quality for std broadcasts.
Summary: Expensive (and heavy) unit with beautiful craftmanship. Pedestal stand expensive too... but these are made to wall mount. Picture quality really apparent when viewed side-by-side with alternatives. Component inputs work nicely, HDMI pict quality is outstanding.
System: PRO1410HDHD-DTV, Denon 4806, Jamo concert 8s, Carver SW, LG prog scan DVD (with Sunfire 400-5 off preouts to room 2). The Denon 4806 will broadcast HDMI over a 50ft cable with no problem.
