"Outstanding HDTV that delivers great colors."
Pros: black level, color accuracy, style, standard def processing
Cons: sound is very weak
Summary: This set finally delivers the picture quality I have been looking for. The CNET review of the 50" version was very accurate to my 42" version. I used the settings listed in the "Tips and Tricks" on this CNET website and it produces a wonderful picture. Standard broadcast look impressive on this set via my DirecTV, and of course HDTV is great.
The sound on this Samsung is very weak - my 37" Sharp Aquos LCD blows this one away with sound quality. That is the only reason I did not give it a 10. Buy it.
