"Horrible it?s absolutely going to screen burn."
Pros: Sadly all negated by its largest Con.
Cons: We brought ours home and after three days it screen burned in DirecTV logo!
Summary: I read the reviews for this TV and figured Id give Samsung the benefit of the doubt but after three days the DirecTV logo is screen burned into the tv and we are taking it back to the store.
One other thing, if you watch any amount of standard def TV pass this one up, because it has horrible up conversion and its almost unbearable to watch anything other than HD on.

Don't believe people who tell you there is no burn in, temporary ghost images will and can become permanent. Store manager told me if he couldn't fix it he would take it back (thinking like some of these other people its temp ghosting) so I said come on over, he tried and a a week later they came and got it so all the lamer saying its just me can get lost.

There is no such thing as burn in. There is only image retention which is temporary. You may see "ghost" images when your TV is turned off after watching a certain channel for awhile. That image will soon disappear and even quicker if you turn on new programming. key word: TEMPORARY.

I'm not sure what you did to the poor tv but we have had ours for 2weeks now and have it hooked up to a Wii. 3 kids = not always turned off when not in use and we have not had any burn in or image retention at all
