"Great LCD monitor for computer....not really for HDTV viewing"
Pros: Very bright picture
Cons: Fuzzy when displaying fast moving action
Summary: I bought this TV because of its lightweight, so I can replace my bulky LOEWE TV. Well the HDTV signal came out the way it's supposed to come out in my older LOEWE TV. However, it shows a shadow/fuzzy like image whenever the subject/object become smaller or moves fast.
I ended up keeping my old LOEWE TV in my living room (FYI: I think LOEWE still make the best TV in term of picture quality-but a bit pricey)
So I decided to try my new LCD with my PC at home, just to experimenting with it. WOW....that's the only word to describe it.
With the HDMI output to VGA input from PC to this monitor, you will get amazing picture color and resolution.
Now I am basically hooked with this monitor 8 hours a day for my work. Excel, word, and my other software applications look intuitively fun to work with after seeing it on display.
My picture imaging software is also showing a great quality. I think it is equal to Apple 30 LCD display in quality eventhough Apple is listing that their product claims to have 2560 x 1600 optimal resolution(which is double the resolution of this samsung monitor)
Well I am satisfied since I got this TV for the price of $1,000.00 on the liquidation sale on Goodguys. And it is a giant LCD to use for your work which is awesome.
I hope Samsung correct those HDTV picture in their next release. For now, this monitor stays in my work space.
