Summary: Lets get the ugly out of the way; it has only one component input so when you get it, get a splitter if you have other component products no compatible with HDMI. I opted for connecting my cable thru HDMI and could not believe the quality improvement. The sound is great if you have it in a medium to small room, after all is a 32" Set, a separate Surround System will come handy for people looking to get a cinematic experience. You can find a cheap-decent one (less than $100 for 300Watts), at Target or your favorite store. The remote control design is kind of odd-long but it works well.
Now the goodness; where should I start? I had the 23" Ln-r model in my room which I used mostly for gaming--excellent set as well; God knows, this time around, I did my homework around the net, forums and in-stores looking for the best looking set for my money. I wanted to upgrade to 32" in my room and was willing to buy a Sony if I had to or else, all depending in Picture Quality and overall features. This model, again, won my choice after seeing the amazing picture quality which honestly goes far from just being 4000:1; it has many customizable aspects--for the picky at heart--and a very simple pick and play way to use it. HD programming is fantastic but HD-DVD and Gaming at 720p is truly a feast to your eyes. The picture comes alive and vibrant, making the viewing experience what it was meant to be, pleasurable and relaxing. The black levels on this set are outstanding, especially when you set the back light to low, medium or high thru the energy saving mode at the touch of a button on your controller. And if not enough there are plenty of graphical equalizer features to suit your demands. The set has many input options not only on the back but on the side as well for camcorders, Digital cameras and even Ipods.
For Gamers: This is the set to own! The Xbox 360 never looked better. God am I happy to play my games here. Honeslty? It felt as if I'd opened my eyes for the first time to color. Sharp, vibrants, no ghosting or blurring effects... beautiful. **The gaming mode works well in some games but not all. It will be your judgment to tell when to have it "on" and when to turn it off.

Summary: Great T.V., one thing I should say is that if you have cables that are going to be 8 feet and up you should get a cable booster. A friend of mine bought the same one and he connected 16 feet cables and with the booster the picture looks better then or the same as Sony's Brivia. It also depends on what you are watching. If you go to the store to compare, ask the guy for the remote for each t.v. that you are comparing and put the picture settings the same and make sure the connection is connected well. Because I have discovered that the T.V. that they want to sell the Most that Week or Month, they start putting shaper image on one, or darker brightness on another so take your time buying a t.v. Now and days there isn't really a special unless you've been shopping for a t.v. for at least three weeks and you’ll know that it's a special. You just might get lucky one week later if you wait.

Cons: Just that I had to buy a wall mount
Summary: This T.V. is my first flat panel and I feel proud of purchasing this T.V. It took me a couple of weeks to look into the new T.V. generation, and I most say that I did not see anything better in purchasing a more expensive plasma. I mean that I've heard in the news that the plasma you can watch at any view point. Will so can you with this LNS3251D LCD Samsung. I guess what I trying to say that if you purchase this T.V. you won't regret it.

Pros: Great picture, great specs, looks. With the 4000:1 contrast ratio it rivals any LCD or Plasma on the market.
Cons: If i had one complaint though, it would be it has only one component input. It does have two HDMI inputs but there isn't that many devices out there to use the second HDMI connection
Summary: I purchased the Samsung Lns3251d TV just for my gaming consoles. The ultra high contrast ratio (4000:1) and vibrant colors really make my XBOX and the XBOX 360 games come to life. This set also has an optimized game setting that helps to enhance the experience. The built in speakers are acceptable, but serious gamers will need to add a surround sound system. On the down side, I think that this set should have 2 component inputs instead of 1. The 2 HDMI inputs are nice unless you are just a serious gamer like me. The HD display that I saw in the store was gorgeous next to the other sets. I may eventually make this a bedroom HDTV, but for now...I am just spoiling myself in gaming heaven.

Summary: I have my T.V. a little bit over a month now and can say that I was glad to do the research. This T.V. looks nice, sounds nice, and even looks nice. It has a 4000 to 1 contrast ratio that makes the blacks blacker and the whites whiter making the colors more perfect. It has features for all kinds of viewers, I was watching the Finals of basketball ball and the surround expander is great. Plus it has a cable automatic switcher, instead of having to look for the input that the DVD is pluged into. All I had to do was press source. 10 out 10 for this t.v.
