"I bought it and love it"
Pros: great price quality ratio. Perfect
Cons: nothing to complain about.
Summary: I researched tvs for 2 months.
Forget plasmas-hot screen, power consumption, slow response time and risk of burn in.Forget projection. limited viewing angles. Junk for the money. Forget 1080p-need blue ray cd's to get full resolution, cannot tell the difference between the 768 and 1080p and 12 feet. Price difference between 1080p and 768 is almost $1,000. I bought my Samsung for $1,798. This set has gone down in price almost $1,000 since it was introduced. Auto screen mode to fit HD and SD. Has PIP capability.
Screen has lots of tweeks. First thing, turn down the brightness and back light setting power settings a bit. The screens are set bright for the show room, too brite for home. Good SD image, great screen menus.
When you get this pupply home, it is huge! User friendly.SOund advice/tweeterswill match price of $1,798 to make the sale and so should circuit city. BEtter to buy local incase there is problems. Mail order delivery can be pretty rough.
One other thing, the piano black finish is classy, gorgeous and enhances the screen. Beats sony buy a nose and a great piano black finish.
