"The best HDTV of all."
Pros: Crisp clean, bright,detailed picture. Very good color and deep black.
Cons: Motion blur. Viewing angle is not great.
Summary: First I was thinking of buying 50" plasma so I went to a local electric store. Price dropped and I thought it's the time to buy a new hdtv. However,there was one hdtv caught my eyes among bunch. It was Samsung 4665F which is smaller version of 5265F. The picture quality was the best compared to all the hdtvs in the store. To make sure, I went to several other stores (tv setting could be different depends on store). Wherever I go, this Samsung tv made the best picture. Black level of this tv is close to good plasma tv.
I found good price on Internet for 52" version which is 5265F and no regret so far.
Since it's LCD tv, I notice motion blur( one of the reasons that I was going to plasma) but I also found motion blur on all the plasma tvs. I thought there shouldn't be no motion blur on plasma tv but for me, I notice the same motion blur or artificial effect on all the plasma tvs in the store. Maybe little less than this TV, but I saw it was there on plasma tvs too. Another cons of this tv is viewing angle. If you watch it from sweet spot, picture is very good. If you move to either left or right side, you will notice it loses a bit of contrast and color saturation. It's not much though but worse than plasma.
Plasma tv piture is not as sharp and bright as this this one.
Beside its performence, it's the best looking tv. Wheather it's on or off, it is just so beautiful.
I strongly recomend this and I believe this is the best quality and value of all HDTV out there.
