  • "Nice TV but it committed suicide after 8 months."
    on by JakeandBake

Pros Nice picture. Good sound. Easy to use.

Cons Sound could be better. The fact that it died so early in life really gets me.

Summary Really liked the TV but one day it just died. It would not turn on. Repairman said it was normal. Usually 8 to 14 months and boom. Cost to repair was more than I paid for the TV. Even with a warranty the cost was more than what I paid. Terrible customer service. Their warranty sucks big time. Will try a different brand next time.

  • "Loved It Until It DIED...Not even a year old!"
    on by Techlover2009

Pros It had an excellent picture and sound quality.

Cons It occasionally didn't respond to being turned on and then one day it did not respond at all. Bought it at best buy and they won't be able to come out for a week and then they will decide if they will do anything about it.

Summary Loved It Until It DIED...Not even a year old!

  • "Overall Great tv."
    on by christianfermin

Pros Amazing picture, elegant design, 4 hdmi inputs, excellent menu features.

Cons Big bulky remote , no printed manual, no s-video input, price, audio do not support (AAC decoding) which is needed for some (.mkv movie files) . wireless adapter not included.

Summary I gave it 5 starts. Amazing picture quality, sound is not that great because i was not able to hear sound from some of my (.mkv movie files) stored on my usb flash drive or portable hard rive. I found out why, because this tv is missing the (AAC audio codec). Might be fix by a future update. I solved this problem by buying the wd hd media player. No s-video on this tv which sucks. big bulky remote. I only have one small hand. It has a great built in media player, if you connect a flash drive or portable hard rive. Overall is good , is just the little details, but I'd strongly recommend this tv.

  • "Excellent picture! Very disappointing reliability!"
    on by crotchrider

Pros Absolutely supremely happy with the picture. Excellent

Cons Power unit died in 3 years and probably less than 200 hours. It is an occasional t.v. Out of warranty. Cost? $201.35 Labor/parts/tax.
    Most impressive!! :-{

Summary I am disappointed in the extreme. Am I now to expect a 'repeat performance' with this machine in another 150-200 hours? What kind of crap is that?!I wouldn't be half as ticked if I had cheaped out and chosen a much lower model, but I didn't. The 650 is supposed to be the top of the line. Picture-wise, I'm sure that there is a perceptible difference over the lesser models, but they probably all have the identical power supply units. Too bad I didn't know all this before, 'cause that certainly would have been a 'deal breaker'!

  • "Great TV, clear picture and good color"
    on by bapt240

Pros Pictures from this TV are clear and the colors are vibrant. Styling of the TV is excellent and requires little adjustment of the settings out of the box

Cons Price of the TV is higher than most brands. Remote seems more like a kids toy than a high end TV remote.

Summary Overall an excellent TV for the price. I have 2 and have not had any issues with either of them
