"bought a very similar model (ln40b540) and was amazed"
Pros: -amazing picture, very detailed and vibrant
-great contrast, blacks look very deep
- like the touch of color themme as well as the rest of the bezel look (glass base)

"Samsung is the best LCD Brand"
Pros: Samsung is the best LCD brand. It got high contrast to display perfect dark scenes, great for movie and computer hook-up. I recommend you to check out http://www.squidoo.com/best-hdtv for information on what is the best and cheapest HDTV to get 2009.

Pros: Dazzling picture. Everything is sharp, colors are very rich, picture very vibrant. Sharp looking set physically. I don't think it can be beat for the price.
Cons: Slightly complex owners manual. Tried to register product online, but having LOTS of problems. Other than that...nothing else negative.

"Good picture bad software and manual."
Pros: Good contrast and picture at fair price. Service time was reasonable on defective parts.
Cons: Manual is is missing to much! The extra audio conections for the HDMI / DMI computer input don'r work unless the HDMI has the right data coming from it. Inputs must be named correctly or the audio won't work, nothing in the manual to help.

"Great TV for the price and then some."
Pros: No pixelation or other nasty sub-par imperfection in screen that I have seen so far.. Blacks look good without clouds. Colour is vibrant and looks correct with slight adjustment. I have been plesently suprised with this set.
Cons: Slight buzzing noise when particular freqencies are amplified which seemes to be fixed for the most part by adjusting the brightness and backlight level (odd). Came out of box with fairly escessive red level. Easy to fix.
