Pros: clear picture, no electrical problems
Awesome bright colors
High definition pics so clear you would think you were there in real life!Cons: some picture fade out with fast action scenes (rarely). You need to get a 240 hz TV if you don't want any motion blur, and this TV is only 120hz.
Summary: We've had the Samsung LN46A500 LCD TV for 2 years. It has worked great.
Always use the home theater system for sound, so can't comment on the speakers.
But the picture has been wonderful. We LOVE the swivel stand, convenient when
we're on the treadmill or just whenever.
I wish TV manufacturers would list swivel stands in their TV features , would make it
so much easier when TV shopping on line!
This TV is great! 46" is a good size TV for your living room/great room. We enjoy movies on ours with
our SAMSUNG & our home theater system. Almost as good as going to the theater. Better actually. :o)
And watching football is amazing on this TV.
You can see the blades of grass on the field.
Samsung put out a great product with this TV.
My son just purchased a 46" Samsung TV since

Pros: Pros for Service people - Charge $75 without opening the tv (as they are very familiar with all samsung issues)
Cons: Worst TV (Owned LN46A500) - Bought for $1100, before I finish paying the loan in Best buy, TV is no more working
Summary: Dont go to Samsung for anything

Pros: Don't like this TV at all after spending around $1000.....
Same problems with other Samsung TV, power supply went dead around 14-15 months which means it does not cover under Saumsung warranty. How clever Samsung is!!!!Cons: Power supply problems, TV doesn't turn on any more.. The light is on, and hear the clicking noise...Go figure out what the problems are... Power supply problems. This is the problems on all Samsung TV..
Summary: Don't spend money on this trash!!!!!

Pros: The sound and picture is good. Color is strong for the price ($900) and the swivel function is sweet.
Cons: Only 2 HDMI inputs.
Summary: The menu screen and applications are easy to move through and are intuative. I would strongly recommend this TV if you are looking for a good value this TV is great!!
