CNET Editors' Take

CNET did not review the Samsung LN46A530, but we did review a model in a different series with similar specs.

Review:

Although CNET did not review the 46-inch Samsung LN46A530, we did review the 46-inch Samsung LN46A550. Judging from their spec sheets, the two Samsung flat-panel LCDs are basically identical but for panel luminance and the exclusion of a flash USB port, so we expect the review of the 46-incher to give a good indication of how the LN46A550 will perform. The difference in panel luminance should have a negligible impact on picture quality. For more information, refer to the full review of the Samsung LN46A550.

"Great TV if you need it for less than 18 months" By Stanley724

Pros: Great picture quality.

Cons: After 18 months the TV will not power on.

Summary: This is a very unreliable product with power up issues. I will never purchase another Samsung product. Extremely dissatisfied with their customer response.
