"Great so far..."
Pros: Good picture, colours, and viewing angle. Stylish black. Lots of inputs. Good computer support.
Cons: Red light, no manual on/off. Shiny black casing casing casts reflections.
Summary: I'm using it of a Windows Media PC, so I'm not interested in sound, remote, software, etc.
Picture is good as is the viewing angle. No problems with motion so far, at least in terms of sports. Runs at high resolutions and normal (non-HDTV) pictures look pretty good on it. Works well as a computer screen provided you are withint about 4' of it - otherwise the resolution makes most thinks rather small to see. The shiny black casing is stylish. While this might collect a lot of finger prints, IMO it is worth the occational cleaning.
Minor annoyances for me are the red light at the front indicating that it is on. In a dark room, it is bright enough to be slightly distracting. It also doesn't have a manual on/off meaning I need the remote even though the PC has one. I'll look at trying to program the PC remote to see if it can turn it on off. One final annoyance is that inside lip of the casing around the screen itself is also reflective black and it makes a clear reflection of the outer areas of the screen. It makes adjusting thinks like the position of the screen annoying as the outer pixels are "mirrored" in the shinny lip.
However, as a giant computer monitor and running MCE is works extremely well. Blue-rays look fantastic, normal TV is fine, and even at 1920x1080 it works as a monitor if you move a bit closer.
