Pros: Excellent picture quality and audio when it works!

Cons: audio is choppy and on playing DVD it says mode not supported

Since 25th July'2008, I have had horrendous experience with Samsung HDTV's purchased from Frys, Renton.

Listed below is the expreince history and details of current issues:

1) The LCD HDTV was purchased on 25th July and after a few weeks ( 13th August) some line started to appear on the HDTV. The same was taken back to Fry's and the HDTV was replaced.

2) The 2nd TV purchased had some hardware issues and the screw on the back of the TV would not come off; the screw/nut were freewheeling and again Fry's obliged by replacing the TV

3) The current one has an issue that I get choppy audio i.e audio goes off momemterily and comes back after some time.Further on playing the DVD (Philips DVD 5992 1080 upconverting) it said Mode not supported..

Please confirm if any one has had similar experience on the audio and on playing the DVD. I am not sure if this is a firmware issue or hardware/port issue..

Please advise if the later can be fixed..

On contacting Samsung, instead of swapping it they want to repair it and I am not sure if that is a good approach
