"Purchase this tv set, you will be happy you did"

by esmelin pena on October 13, 2008

Pros: I purchased tis tv on 09/15/08 and it delivers.I have a ps3 hooked up.Un freeking real how good blue ray looks on this tv,ps3 games are unreal, the fetures on this tv are great.Remember you get what you pay for, compared this set agaisnt everyhing.

Cons: there are no cons on this tv,some people complain about the sound and beleive me they need their ears cleaned.

Summary: this tv is expensive but if you know how to negotiate and the day and time of the week you can get a deal like i did.First of all some blogers say you get the cloud effect, unless you have a plasma all LCD's give you some cloud effect,The 120 hz in this set works great on sports just remmember to turn it off for movies and regular tv.This set has great deep black when you are watching movies or gaming.I compared this tv to the 950 i only noticed a slight diffrence in picture quality. The 950 sells for about $1,000 more than this set. This set is thinner lighter and looks great, the 950 has LED back lighting,is heavier, thicker and a coupple of features over the 850 even though i am happy with my set.

this tv is as good as it gets,I have owned this set for more than 4 months and it amazing,I still have not found anything negative to say about this set. This is what i say(you get what you pay for)I paid $2,112 taxes included over 4 months ago,If you purchase the tv set know you get it for the price that i paid over 4 months ago.

I just purchased this tv today, and i am simply amazed. But i do have one question about one of the features. I was reading thru the manual and it had instuctions for turning on PIP, but when i tried to, the PIP option on the settings menu was disabled. It was gray instead of white, and wouldn't even let me select it. Does anyone know if there is something i'm doing wrong or is PIP just not available on this model.

Hey shari, the 120 hz is best on when viewing blueray movies, all sports, matter of fact i keep on all the time just to get a clear picture when there is fast movement.I was viewing the latest Bruce Willis movie,i think its called die harder or something like that.there is a sceen when he is in the city in trafic and he stands on top of a car and looks around.Ihad the 120 hz of and the picture did look a little blurry when he turned and looked around, then i activated the 120 hz on that same point in the movie and wow.the picture was allot sharper and clear.
about the remote i have had some problems what i did is i have my TV mounted on the wall and my cable box is on the bottom of my stand with all my other equipment,I also turn my cable box on first then my TV and the problem stoped happening. This is a great lcd TV and everyday i am verry happy that i purchased it.

Hi, I am planning to purchase this t.v. this week. I was wondering if you could tell me about the 120hz comment you made and if you are still happy? No problems with remotes? Thanks so much for your time! Shari

hey weasel remember i purchased it for $2,112 with taxes 6 months ago.The price was $2700 without taxes i saved $820. remember guys if you go to best buy, circuit city, they will never negotiate the price. In the east coast i only purchase at pc richards and son, they are family owned and want to move their inventory as fast as possible.we the comsumer have the upperhand in this horrible economy.

I paid only $1750 at abesofmaine.com, however, I think it has gone up about $100 since I purchased it. They also negotiated a great price with me for an extended warranty and a tilting wall mount.

What price did you pay? I would like the set, but it is expensive.
