Pros -Probably one of the best matte-finish Samsung LCD TVs you can get
    -Love the 120Hz
    -Excellent contrast ratio
    -Plenty of connectivity

Cons -The bezel has a v-shaped bottom, which I don't find too aesthetically appealing, but that's too small of a factor for me.

Summary At first, I was planning to buy the 46B650, but I wasn't sure how annoyed I would be with the glare due its glossy screen, so I got the 46B630 instead. The 630 and 650 actually both have the same panel, the only difference the glossy coating applied on the 650 vs. matte on the 630 (which is why Samsung rates the 630 has having 80K:1 contrast ratio vs 100K:1 on the 650). Also, the 650 features DLNA media streaming, something which my PS3 can already do. However, the 630 turned out to be $300 less than the 650 for me.

  • "Terrific picture when watching video-based programming"
    on by Ken K

Pros Nice variety of video settings. Matte screen cuts down on glare. Swivel base nice, but would be better if motorized.

Cons Programs shot on film have a "video" look to them, especially in "Dynamic" mode. "Film" mode just looks awful; muted colors and overall gray cast. Friends have commented that film sources look odd. "Natural" or "Standard" mode look more cinematic.

Summary Overall, very pleased with the set. Video based programming looks outstanding, almost 3-D.

  • "Am I watching a 3-D Movie? AWESOME!"

Pros Picure is awesome, 120 Hz, price

Cons Reflective screen, touch of red, sound is just ok

Summary I was totally blown away after hooking up this TV. I first watched some HD content on Comcast. Very nice. I was really impressed. Then I popped in a couple of blu ray movies. OMG, this is crazy. It's like you are watching a live play or something. I turned off some of the automotion settings as they were causing some pixelation during a football game. Makes all the difference in the world. Haven't tried out the InfoLink (weather, sports widgets, etc).

I have no complaints thus far. Be sure to check the TVs out before you buy. There are several non-LED displays in the 600 range. A couple of them have the full 'glossy' screen, while the B630 has the semi-gloss (matte). These screens are very reflective.
