Pros: To my untrained eye, so far so good. I like the bezel. CNET's review will certainly be more expert than mine.

Cons: Nothing I can think of.

Summary: I just got this at Frys for 699. It's not shown online or advertised, except possibly in print as "major brand". Anyway, great deal. FYI.

If I understand the technology correctly, I would add that it's not that hard to discern 120hz vs. 60hz. If it looks so smooth you think you're looking through a very clear window at real life, that's 120hz. Side-by-side, you can just make out the individual frames of a 60hz tv. Looks just slightly stilted or jagged.

The glossy plasma screens are unacceptable to me. If I knew I had a nice dark room, I would definitely consider plasma though. Far better value. I saw a 1080 LG 50" plasma at FRYs for $650.
