Pros: It looks like it upconvert TV signal from standard definition to HD. Built-in Media player that plays all Video, Audio and Photo formats. Wired or Wireless Network. Easy set up and configuration. PIP Picture in Picture. Energy saving feature.
Cons: Touch control on the TV is hard to see in the dark. No analog Audio OUT only Optical SPDIF. Only one RCA analog video/audio IN. Considering their are still lots of devices uses RCA Jack.
Summary: I'm always a SONY TV fan. We had Sony TV's for almost 20yrs now and they last forever. The last Sony TV we bought 6yrs ago was a 40" LCD 1080i and it was the best at that time unfortunately I made a mistake of buying a 5yrs extended warranty but it never had a problem. Since Samsung came out with their LCD and LED TV I'm noticing the picture quality is much better than Sony. Two weekend ago my wife wants to buy me a bigger TV as gift for fathers day. We went looking for either a LED or LCD TV and also between Sony or Samsung. We bought Samsung because it has a better picture quality compare to Sony LED TV side by side in the store. Also it was on sale and it comes with a Samsung blueray player and LOTR blueray movie as part of the deal. The LED TV's are still expensive and to be honest I don't see the difference in picture quality beside on the dimension. We have been using this TV for two weeks watching the NBA finals, World Cup and Bluejays baseball with 120hz motion rate in use on a Standard Definition cable box its so clear that its almost watching on an HD channel. We did not buy the extended warranty hoping its as reliable and durable as the Sony TV.
